Small Cold and Freezer Rooms
Cold and freezer rooms for all requirements ranging from +15 degrees to -30 degrees. Small
scale units for small shops, restaurants, bars and grills for storage of fresh or frozen produce
to suit the customers’ requirements. Manufactured from 75mm to 150mm thick panels
depending on products beings stored and location in the country. Cold and Freezer rooms
may also be fitted with Galvanized or Stainless Steel shelving to suit packing requirements.
Because the shelving is also manufactured by Dawtech, we can customize it to suit any
strategic requirement. Where necessary insulated galvanized floors will be installed to
prevent heat transference through floors. Optional, styrene and concrete can also be
provided.
Large Cold and Freezer Storage Facilities
We manufacture and install all cold and freezer warehousing panel types for large facilities and
processing plants. We have completed large facilities in East London, Johannesburg,
Centurion, Tarlton, to name but a few. The facilities have ranged from 3m high to 11m high and
have included mounting panels on existing 3m high brick walls. We have also built full meat
processing plants and fruit and vegetable processing plants. These large facilities usually
demand strict timelines and we can safely say that we have met all requirements during the
construction of these facilities. With panel lengths of up to 8m and 150mm thick we are able to
assist with any needs that our customers have.
Glass Door Mega Coolers
We have manufactured glass door mega coolers and freezers for a number of various outlets
including retail stores, liquor stores and meat distributors. The door configurations are both slam on
and architrave dependent on customer requirement and available in black or aluminium finish. There
are several different shelving options ranging through mini flat, standard flat, mega flat, extended
flat, can feeder, buddy feeder, 1.5 litre feeder and 2 litre feeder. All door posts are fitted with LED
lighting. The units can be front loading or rear loading depending on space availability and store
configuration. Freezer glass doors are fitted with heaters to prevent ice buildup on the doors.
Freezer rooms are also fitted with insulated galvanized floors to prevent heat transference. The
smallest glass door unit we have made is a 2 glass door and the largest is 66 glass door.
Offices and Laboratories
Insulated chromadek panels are far more durable than dry walling solutions and are also easily
cleaned. The insulation helps air conditioning systems to work less and keep the area cooler or
warmer as required. Fully lockable doors are fitted and can also be made as full sealed doors for
laboratories. Various window sizes and designs are available and can be doubled up for sound
proofing if necessary. Included in the offices we have provided stainless steel counter tops, desks
and partitioning. We are also able to supply and install air conditioning systems for these.
Trailers
Various designs of trailers are available including food vending, display, office and refrigerated.
These trailers are all SABS approved and come complete with a registration documentation. All
trailers are customized to suit the client’s specifications. Trailers can be air conditioned or
refrigerated and we supply windows and vent hatches as well. Any extra that you may require
supplied and installed is available. Trailers are supplied in single axle un-braked, single axle braked
and double axle braked. Various weight configurations can be supplied to ensure that you are able
to carry what you need to. Trailers can be a great advantage to companies that need to get their
product to the customer and display trailers are great for shows where your set-up is done prior to
arrival and all that is needed is to take the trailer there and open for the show. This is also a big
advantage for the food and beverage industry in that you can attend different functions and sell your
products in different arenas. You are no longer fixed to one address. Trailer can be branded and
second as a moving billboard for your company and products.
Container Conversions
Containers can be very versatile for use on sites or where refurbishment of shops or offices is taking
place. Containers can be converted to Cold Rooms, Freezer Rooms, Offices, Storage Facilities,
Washrooms and Toilets. When using 40-foot (12 meter) Containers they can also be split to house
both cold and Freezer rooms or for part office, part bathroom, part storage room. We have also
converted containers for vending units. Insulating the inside of the container makes it far less
susceptible to heat and where necessary can be air conditioned to make great lockable site offices.
The panel finish allows for hanging of white boards and pin boards and could easily handle the
hanging of flat screen televisions where required. Refrigerated units also get an insulated
galvanized floor to stop any heat transference.
Load Boxes and Lock Boxes
Any design that you require of load box or lock box, we will design and manufacture for you.
Solutions to all storage and transport problems are very easily solved with insulated panels. Let us

Stand Alone Units
Refrigerated and non-refrigerated standalone units suitable for outside cold storage small Freezer
rooms, Garden sheds, Factory storerooms, site offices. These rooms can be moved by forklift, so
they are ideal for the business that has not got their floor planning fully completed but need the
lockable units. A strong steel frame base with various insulation paneling to suit the requirements
of the customers. Various sizes are available. These can be completely assembled at our factory
and collected by road freight to put into place at any site. The cold room and freezer room units
operate off 220v so all that is required is a suitable plug in point to get them running.
Suspended Ceilings
Insulated suspended ceilings help with a cooler and warmer office environment and ensure that the
air conditioning systems do not have to work as hard. This prolongs the life span of the units and
also looks aesthetically pleasing. With insulated suspended ceilings, you will also be able to walk
on the ceilings allowing electricians, plumbers and air conditioning technicians better access for
maintenance and repairs.
Spray Booths
We have manufactured and installed numerous spray booths for different applications that have
included sealed lighting and extraction units with various filtration types. Double drive in doors and
singles walk through doors are available on these units. Customers have also requested windows
for certain applications.
Shelving and Stack Walls
We manufacture our shelving out of Galvanized sheet, Stainless, Chromadek or Aluminum. This is
ideal for all applications, including cold room and freezer room. We can manufacture various sizes
to suit requirement and have adjustable shelving spacing to allow for different packing
configurations.
The Stack walls are division walls that can be folded away when not in use and can partition a room
up to 5 meters wide and up to 3m high. The stack wall is easily movable with lockable castors. Light
weight and durable this stack wall can be used for many applications.
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
We offer refrigeration supply and installation for all cold rooms, freezer and blast freezer variations.
We also supply and install a full range of air conditioning systems including mid-wall splits, cassette
units, ducted systems and standalone units. Our products are only sourced from the most reputable
manufacturers. Additional to refrigeration and air conditioning we can also supply the appropriate
air curtains and strip curtains to suit.
We also offer service and maintenance contract which will ensure the good running of your units for
longer without any breakdowns. Service and maintenance is a critical factor in the refrigeration
industry and many customers neglect units until it is too late and costly repairs are required. Having
a service contract in place will also help with insuring goods that you are storing.
